Do you think this ancient waterfall pre-dated the Inca?

When traveling though Peru we documented lots of evidence suggesting there was an advanced culture that pre dated the Inca. We saw that the Inca utilized the remains of this ancient culture in order to build their temples and city systems. The Inca obviously held this previous culture in high regard. We can see this throughout many of the ancient sites in Peru.

There is an obvious difference in the building styles of the Inca and the culture that was there before them. The Inca used small and rougher stones to create there walls. The culture that pre dated the Inca used large and very smooth stones. These stones would lock together using little to no mortar. This ancient building technique still baffles experts to this day. This waterfall (video below) is a great example. It shows the incredible difference in building styles between these two cultures.

We can see that the pre Inca culture were able to cut stone with incredible percision and detail. They were alble to create smooth and flat surfaces out of stones that may have weighed hundreds of tons. Not only were the ancient pre Inca cultures experts in creating works of art out of stone. They were also able to engeener incredibly complex and intricate ways of transporting water, for agriculture and their people. Even after thousands of years, the waterfall still works and not much has changed to the original structure.

In this video below, you will see Brien Forester as he shows us an example of how advanced this technology was. Brien swipes his finger and the waterfall for a moment, seizes to fall. It seems as if the waterfall’s flow changes and halts for a moment.

Is it possible that because the water canal was so precisely made, it lended the possibility for Brien to show us this?

If so, how was a culture that pre dated the Inca able to create such precise cuts into solid stone?

What might we be able to learn from the building styles of this ancient society?

Conventional archeologies may have you believe that the Inca cut these stones with simple tools including bronze chizzles and stone hammers…
