Which is best ? Testing the MSR Pocket Rocket2 , SOTO Amicus, Soto Windmaster, MSR Microrocket, Warrior field stove and a cheapo chinese amazon crappo.
I test these popular stoves with 500ml / 17.6 oz of (same temperature) water brought to boil in a MSR Titan kettle – first with zero wind then a fan on full constant speed.
I record the time taken to reach first part of boil and also the gas used and a take brief look at each stove.
