Patch Adams Discusses: Depression and Self-Harm

Описание к видео Patch Adams Discusses: Depression and Self-Harm

This video may be difficult for some people. I firmly believe that I make me. It's so simple to say and leads to such a revolutionary act. I could focus on sadness, but it doesn't serve me, and I don't think it serves you either. Instead of focusing on the pain and suffering, I prefer to look for all the things we have that we can be grateful for: trees, flowers, birds, sky, the snow on the ground and the promise of the coming spring. Let's go on a walk together so I can show you the wonders of nature.

Just to be clear, do not stop taking medication. Please have an open dialogue with your physician if you feel this video is helpful to you. I'm sure that with your physician's help, and with diet, exercise, and building positive relationships with friends, your outlook will brighten over time, like the grass peering up from the melting snow.
