New Grosjean 3D Crash Animation | F1 2020 Bahrain GP

Unseen onboards, alternative angles, full speed and slow motion! A new 3D reconstruction of Romain Grosjean's insane fireball crash at the Formula 1 2020 Bahrain GP.

Watching it live, I could not explain what had happened, so I created a "simple" animation (   • Grosjean 3D Crash Animation - F1 Bahr...  ) back in december. This video shows a more realistic render, including onboard and drivers eyes (helmet) POV. Enjoy the crashalong!

Looks familiar? In January, Canal Plus approached me to work on a new animation in high quality for their documentary "Retour de flammes". This video is a slightly adapted version to see the collision with Daniil Kvyat and position of Kevin Magnussen better.
