New River Gorge is the newest National Park and it offers an abundance of activities. I did a 4 hour rock climbing and rappelling tour in the gorge and it was my first time climbing an actual cliffside. Adventures on the Gorge was our go-to for outdoor guided activities and they were beyond amazing to work with!! It was a harder (I fell a dozen times) and more rewarding experience than I thought it would be.
