TabTimer 12 inch Digital Dementia Calendar Day Clock
Hi There, I’m Jonathan Allott, Managing Director and Chief Timekeeper at TabTimer Reminders.
I established TabTimer in 2009 to help people stay on-time with medicines and other personal care tasks.
Today we have over 100 products, for people with various chronic illnesses and disabilities, to help them manage their daily living requirements, using reminder devices, alerts, and prompts.
This video focusses on our range of Orientation Dementia Clocks, in particular the 12 inch Digital Calendar Day Clock.
People with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Memory Impairment, or cognitive impairment often struggle to remember what day, or time it is, and often they forget important tasks, appointments, and events.
The 12 inch Day Clock helps alleviate this problem with a clear time & date display, and simple reminder alarms and prompts.
The 12 inch Day Clock is a non-abbreviated display of Day, Date, Month & Year – making it easy for people with memory or cognitive impairment to know exactly what day and time it is.
People living with Alzheimer's or Dementia, Memory Impairment, or cognitive impairment, can often lose the ability to recognise what the time is, and even whether it is day or night.
This can cause many frustrations for them and for their primary carers. By using this digital orientation clock it can help to reduce the challenges.
The Digital Day Clock is aimed at helping people living with Dementia and memory impairment by simply and clearly displaying the time of day as morning, afternoon, evening, or night.
The time display and menus can be shown in one of 8 available languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Spanish, or Welsh
You can program Up to 12 alarms per day for ;
• Meals,
• Medicines,
• Clinic visits,
• Showering,
• Gardening,
• Cleaning, Appointments
• and Walking the Dog.
The user can press any button on the clock or remote control to stop the alarm.
The clock also has;
• automatic brightness
• 12 hour or 24 hour format, and
• an Internal battery backup,
to save settings in case of a power outage.
The Day Clock can be used in the living room, the bedroom, the study, the kitchen, classroom, or practically anywhere.
To position the clock, you can use the stand that it comes with, or hang it on the wall using a hook or the provided wall mounting bracket.
The high gloss modern frame perfectly suits any environment.
