This easy homemade mango jam recipe without pectin is lusciously smooth, perfect jam, and it is so addictive that you may will eat spoonfuls straight from the jar.

Ingredients

• 2 Container chopped ripe mango (about 1 Kg)

• ½ Container Sugar

• 1 teaspoon lemon or lime juice (Optional) I have not added to this recipe.

Method

• For a smooth jam scoop mango and then blend the mango into a smooth puree.

• In a saucepan on high medium heat add mango puree and sugar.

• Once it starts to boil low the flame to meduim.

• Mix and cook for 20-25 minutes until mixture starts to thicken.

• Remove from heat and set aside and let cool.

• The jam will continue to thicken slightly as it cools.

• Transfer the mango jam to a clean sterilized jar and store in the refrigerator.

• Enjoy with toast, chapatis, croissants, ice cream + more

Notes

If your mangoes are not as sweet increase your sugar quantity.
