BMA530 & BMA580 - A new dimension of acceleration

💥 Big news about the SMALLEST accelerometers in the world 💥 We are proud to introduce our new accelerometers BMA530 and BMA580 which convince due to their small size and their great potential in #wearables and #hearables.

Compared to the current generation of Bosch accelerometers, the BMA530 and BMA580 have a 76% smaller footprint and a reduced height from 0.95 mm to 0.55 mm. This size reduction is achieved through an innovative Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP). The small size of the accelerometers makes them easy to place on a PCB, and their integrated functions make it easier to integrate them into their wearable products. 🤏

While the BMA580 is particularly relevant in the field of hearables, where it has other interesting features in addition to voice activity and bone conduction detection, the BMA530 is ideal for wearables but also for gesture recognition in toys or fall detection in laptops, to name just a few of the features and possible applications.
