DB Cargo's flagship Class 90, 90024 in stunning Malcolm Rail livery accompanied by former-Grand Central liveried Class 90, 90026 on the day's northbound Malcolm Rail 4S47 service from Daventry to Mossend Euroterminal.

DB's Malcolm Rail Class 90 was first unveiled back in July of 2016 at its spiritual home of Crewe Electric Depot (Crewe IEMD), in a livery showing a stunning scene of a part of the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, an image captured by renowned landscape photographer, Colin Prior, showing a view of Ben Mo`r Coigach, Stac Pollaidh and Cu`l Beag from Loch Cu`l Dromannan

Its partner today was liveried into Grand Central in late 2019 and was the first of three Grand Central Class 90s, followed by 90029 and 90020. if it hadn't been for the global pandemic and the sad cancellation of the Grand Central services out of Blackpool North to London Euston, 90039 and 90021 would have followed the above three Skoda's into Grand Central 'Bumblebee' livery.

As of March 2023, of course, 90039 is in the Backbone theme and 90021 is in new MALCOLM group colours, named ''Donald Malcolm''.
