Audax LRM 1300km (Transpeninsular Malaysia Loop)

On March 2022, when Audax organiser announce there is a monstrous long distance series which already came into Malaysia, LRM (Les Randonneur Mondiaux) will be fully self-supported ride of 1300km around Peninsular Malaysia within designated 108 hours as cutoff time.

I knew I must took this challenge as self achievement for being how far I can push.

The journey begins with four of us. This is a difficult test, with unending hill climbs, headwinds, and blazing sun. The worst aspect is the buttocks becoming uncomfortable and causing discomfort. Chamois is ineffective due to hot conditions, causing the bib and skin that stick. I endured the torture until the end 🥲. We laugh, joke, and sleep at 7Eleven, the gas station, Warong, and even sidewalk.

With a proper strategic planning, morale support and together we able to complete the LRM series. We are proud of this remarkable milestone. These memories will never be forgotten.

Always remembered:
Audax is not a race. You don't have podium. Is all about self management, planning and strategy. Make sure this ride is fun and always believe in yourself, nothing is impossible when you want to fulfill a dream. A lot of people will tell you that you can't do it, that you don't have what it takes, but if it is in your heart and you feel it, there is nothing that will stop you. It is like the sun - you can't block it: it will shine regardless, if that is what you want...
