Mednafen is very picky over its disk images and some that you may have working in SSF or Yabause may not work in Mednafen. This video tackles the more troublesome image dumps with audio files in them and shows how to convert them and get a proper cue + bin for Mednafen.

This process may or may not work for all games so your mileage may vary. I can only show that I have done this and it has worked for me.

I used Foobar audio player to convert them but if you don't use that program you can use any program you like or an online converter like http://media.io/
