Absolute Transmetropolitan Vol. 1 & 2 Hands-on

With the arrival of Absolute Transmetropolitan vol.2 last week, I thought it would be a great time to showcase vol.1 & 2 together.

Unfortunately the copy I received from Amazon was damaged. Not because of the typical bad shipping (i.e. oversized boxes with one air bag) but the fairly common manufacturing fault where glue slips into the pages.

This happened to me previously on Absolute Sinestro Corps War and All Star Batman & Robin where I had exchanged the book multiple times but still kept receiving a book with glued pages. This is one of the main reasons I typically order from Amazon where they ship out a new copy as soon as I go through the replacement process online.

That said, do not let this deter you, these are SOLID Absolute Edition volumes and a huge upgrade if you currently own the trades.

In terms of the next volume, I believe we should expect it to be the final volume where it takes us to Issue 60 but at the time of this post, I have not seen anything solicited.
