The 4-5 days Mardi Himal Trek, which begins close to Pokhara in Nepal, leads to the Annapurna Conservation Area's Mardi Himal, which is situated beneath the imposing Mt. Machapuchhre, also known as the Fishtail Peak. We are doing this trek at the end of December 2024, as we started our trek from Pokhara to Kandhe with a taxi ride, and it cost us about 2,000 Nepali rupees. The hike follows a beautiful path through valleys surrounded by snow-capped mountains, oak and rhododendron forests, and verdant slopes. One of the trek's many incredible highlights is the ascent across a high ridge, which offers vistas of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Mount Machapucchre, and Manaslu that stay with you forever. We ultimately arrive at the Mardi Himal base camp, which is located at the foot of Mt. Machapucchre and Mardi Himal, after passing through many stunning lakes and waterfalls. The base camp is located at 4,500 meters above sea level. Both novice and expert hikers who want to explore Nepal's unusual and relatively untraveled trail will find this trek ideal. The pre-monsoon months of March through May and the post-monsoon months of September through December are the ideal times to complete this walk.
