We removed the old Jonagored in this corner last year because we were having alot of sick trees here, especially the low amount of sun hours causes this to be a bad corner of the field. alot of this field is already replaced with Wellant trees, but for this corner we wanted something else.
We planted these appletrees which we imported from Süd Tirol in Italy. It's a new apple sort with a taste to fall in love with! i wont be revealing it's name yet!
The trees we planted are already having alot of wood for their young age, and that's something we defenitly like!
let's hope they produce some apples to taste for this season as we are really curious how they will perform in our cold country.
