Rebel Army Theme (Final Fantasy 2) Violin Cover ~ The Wild Rose ~ Firion

The "Rebel Army Theme" is the motif of the Wild Rose Rebellion and it is a counterpart to the "Imperial Army Theme", the motif of the antagonistic Palamecian Empire. It is perhaps the most well-known tune in Final Fantasy 2 and representative of the title as a whole, despite only playing at the Altair headquarters of the Wild Rose Rebellion. Princess Hilda of Fynn leads the resistance along with her right-hand and Royal Mage of Fynn, the White Wizard Minwu. Firion, Maria and Guy are party members that join the rebellion and oppose the Emperor of Palamecia and Leon.

The Wild Rose concept comes up in Final Fantasy 14 and Dissidia Final Fantasy as well.

This solo instrumental violin cover is based on the first remake version that was released in the West on the original Playstation as part of the Final Fantasy Origins compilation.
