The problem I had was the brake light would not come on when I pressed on the brake and the cruise control also did not work. I had first checked the fuse but this was ok. The brake switch was removed from a peugeot 406 but this is the same type of switch fitted to many makes of cars. Initially the job looks impossible but as you will see it only takes less than a minute to remove the switch.
