Why we Buy Duplicate Items for Our Wardrobe & and why we need to stop

Why do we buy the same items over and over again for our wardrobes? Why do we wear identical items on repeat, instead of just owning one of each item? Today I wanted to sit down and chat about why we buy duplicate clothing items, and why this may not be so good for our style or our wardrobes.

I would love to hear your opinions on the situation, and if there's an angle I haven't even considered with duplicating pieces.
