Behind the Scenes: What Chick Learned from Coltrane

During a soundcheck in Barcelona, Chick reminisces with the Spanish Heart Band about Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and Ron Carter. The drummer of the Spanish Heart Band, Marcus Gilmore, also recalls a story from his grandfather (Roy Haynes) about how John Coltrane recommended Wayne as a fill-in for himself in one of Roy's bands.
