This short video taken at Movieland Cinema, Hornby Mall, Christchurch, New Zealand around the 2009 mark. Usually we never allowed anyone into the projection room while a lamp was being changed for safety reasons. I shot this short video just to show what it was like to change one. Due to the heat those lamps can produce without film running through the gate, the duration of exposed light through the lens, we do try to keep as short as possible.
