🎮 TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (2005)

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is a first-person shooter where you save the future of humanity from an alien army by travelling into the past. Using the power of the mysterious time crystals, you take on the role of Sergeant Cortez, a Space Marine tasked with time travelling to both the recent past and the far future in many bizarre scenarios that perfectly parody the time-travel genre. You experience many Sci-Fi tropes including post-WWI castles, 60s spy action, 90s haunted mansions and futuristic robot dystopias while taking on a variety of evil-doers, enemies and, well, zombies. Along the way, you get help from many lovable and stereotypical characters such as 60s disco lover Harry Tipper and zombie movie teen schoolgirl Jo-Beth Casey. You even team up with past and future versions of yourself in the game's unique time loop paradox gameplay all to end the war before it even begins. The result is a game that perfectly implements a time travel narrative in a way that is both incredibly hilarious and entertaining, while the epic multiplayer, fun challenge mode and legendary map editor make this classic highly replayable.
