How great Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat is! His blessed style is that as he appears before everyone, for example, good deeds before everyone, eating with three fingers before everyone, eating in clay pots, similarly he has the same style in private as well. As he makes good intentions before a meal in front of everyone, similarly when he is alone, he makes good intentions before a meal because if a person has a good intention, the meal will also become an act of reward.

This happened when there was no proper studio where I am making the recording now. I am sitting in Faizan-e-Attar Studio now and making this recording. So there was no proper studio; it was completely open with a shelter above. And the recoding of laws of Salah used to be carried out here those days, I remember. Our exams of Jamia-tul-Madinah were going on and we had become exhausted after studying so hard that the thing which we could not understand the whole year, we weren’t going to understand it then. So, I and an Islamic brother with me, both of us came and sat near the grille installed in Ramazan Hall so that someone would come and take us to Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat.

By the grace of Allah Almighty, soon Haji Asif Attari, a representative of Majlis Maktubat-o-Taweezat-e-Attariyah came and saw me sitting there. So he took me inside. The recording was going on there. I came and sat down. The recording ended and when it was time for Sahari, the dining-mat was spread. At that time there were two Islamic brothers including Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat on the dining-mat. One was Ameer-Ahl-e-Sunnat, the second was an Islamic brother and the third Islamic brother was me and Nigran-e-Shura was also present there.

Anyway, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat took out some curry in the clay plate as it is his blessed habit, broke the bread into four pieces as well, and then ate the meal adopting his manner of eating with three fingers according to the Sunnah. So after observing this, I really felt surprised. May we be sacrificed for Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat! When he takes his meal sitting with a thousand people, he eats according to the same manner of Sunnah, similarly, when he is alone, he is adopting the same manner.


The solitude of Allah’s holy men is more beautiful than their public gathering. In their solitude, they have their own great style of fearing Allah, loving the Holy Prophet, and following him.
May Allah Almighty enable us to adopt good habits! May Allah Almighty purify our private and public life and cleanse our inner and outer self!
