Pros:

***Works really well. Used this for many, many gallons of water over the last couple of years.

***I have nothing but great things to say about this device. It is absolutely amazing to say the least. I recently used it on a 2 day, 30 mile back packing adventure where I used it to filter roughly 4 liters of water from a drainage ditch!!! Strain it, purify, then drink. No issues what so ever! I have yet to use the solar charger other than the first time. Normally I leave it at home and take along an extra set of batteries to save on weight.

Comes with a nice neoprene case that can go on your belt/pack.

Cons: Fragile. While I haven't had any issues it's possible to break this thing. I wouldn't want to drop it. I always make sure I have an alternate means of purifying water. Either with drops, tablets, or fire.

Not really a negative aspect but as with most things, there is a learning curve. Some people don't like to learn and they will use this device incorrectly and will have diarrhea within hours of using it. That's a fact because that is how people are.

Tips: Don't leave the batteries in it. They will be drained!
