Recently, the Washington Department of Licensing changed the real estate license laws so that "licensee" or "real estate salesperson" are all now reflected under the "broker" designation. There are distinctions between types of brokers including "Designated Brokers", "Managing Brokers" and "Brokers". For the purpose of this blog post, The Realty Bros wanted to provide an explanation for what Coldwell Banker Bain (CBB) calls Principal Managing Brokers or PMB's, which for all practical purposes are Managing Brokers/Branch Managers who have been granted the authority by the CBB Designated Broker to be responsible for all real estate activities for their respective branches.
