This video explains how the Super Air Meter (SAM) measures the size and spacing of air bubbles within concrete. Experiments are used to show how small air bubbles change with pressure. The behavior is explained by a combination of the Laplace-Young Equation and Henry’s Law. Then an example is given about how this applies to the performance in the SAM.
