Good Schools - Government school system in India is one of the largest and most complex public systems across the world with 1.1 million schools providing education to 143 million students.today 98% of India’s villages have a primary school within a walking distance of 1 km. This has led to a massive increase in enrollment, particularly of the girl child, reduction in the drop rates and improved youth literacy. Despite these achievements, government schools generally carry a negative image. This is because we expect much more from our government schools, and rightfully so.
