Idaho Senator Mike Crapo today delivered a statement on the floor of the United States Senate promoting swift passage of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The Act has provided funding for programs and initiatives designed to support and help victims of domestic and sexual violence for nearly two decades. Senator Crapo re-introduced VAWA with Senator Patrick Leahy (D-NH) in January, 2013.
