The Mission: January 1945. The snow-covered fields outside Foy, Belgium. Easy Company is ordered to assault the small town held by German forces. Success means clearing the way for the entire battalion. Failure means death in the open.

The Frozen Hellscape: Easy Company advances across a vast, white expanse with zero cover. No trees. No buildings. Just knee-deep snow and the distinctive pop-pop of German machine guns from the tree line. Within seconds, men are dropping. Lt. Compton is hit. Men scream for medics. The snow turns red. ❄️🩸

The Failure: Lt. Norman Dike, the company commander, freezes completely. Instead of ordering his men forward or back, he huddles in a small ditch, paralyzed by fear.
