A Calm Moment for January • Alice Boyd

For the 2023 edition of As the Season Turns, Ffern's podcast with Lia Leendertz, I will be travelling the UK to record a series of Found Sounds.

These meditative soundscapes will give a window into the auditory texture of each month - for January, I was lucky enough to capture the snowy sounds of Hampstead Heath during December‘s freeze ❄️

You can find my soundscape in the January episode of As the Season Turns. Listen out for snow melting from a tree branch, the tinkle of a bell on a dog’s collar, the croak of a crow and an exciting sledge ride.
