Manipur: MP demands Chief Minister's resignation to restore peace in state

In today's Lok Sabha session, Outer Manipur MP Alfred Kanngam S Arthur urged the central government to replace Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh to restore peace in the state. He further slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for not visiting Manipur even once. Alfred also criticized Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the lack of support given to the state in the Budget 2024-25.
