Some good Cowboys news: Micah Parsons is expected to be back at Cowboys’ OTAs this week. His absence was never contract related.
Cowboys OTA takeaways continue to focus on Jalen Tolbert. He continues to draw some praise from players and coaches as he enters Year 3. Here’s what Brandin Cooks said on Tolbert: “The way that he's able to talk about a route or the way he's able to tell the quarterback the way he sees things, he's not shy anymore. He's able to go up to Dak (Prescott) and say, 'Hey, I seen it this way,' and it's awesome to see him grow in that aspect. He's ready to go. Whatever the expectation is for him out there, I'm telling you he's going to crush it. He's ready."

Mike Zimmer is in place as the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator, which was the biggest change Dallas made this offseason. The biggest addition to that side of the ball was Eric Kendricks. He said some negative things about Zimmer at the end of their time in Minnesota, but that’s water under the bridge now.
Eric Kendricks on Zimmer: “Yeah absolutely, I always appreciated Zim. Just the amount of defense I learned when I was underneath him. The way I watch film, the way we break things down, the install, a lot of things I learned from Zim and we had some good years and I can’t wait to continue that. Emotions were high. We’re very excited. It’s good to be back with him. I love his walkthroughs. I love the little ways he does things, the way he structures things, the level of detail, so I’m excited. I really am.”
