In this live stream painting class I share with you how to paint a simple landscape painting in oils for beginners. We use the Moore Method of Painting which I designed to make the process of learning to paint easier for beginners.

In this easy to learn landscape I show you how to draw in the big shapes of the landscape, then block in the basic colours for the sky, distant mountain, distant trees and foreground. Then we work on the cottage and the main tree. Finally we add highlights and finishing touches.

As you can see there is a lot of depth in the painting and I show you how you can create depth and atmosphere in your landscape paintings. While this is an Australian landscape you can apply the Moore Method of Painting to any subject.
