I was officially heading home as i fly on Emirates to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. My aircraft was a 3 years old Boeing 777-300ER, registered A6-ENI. This is my third time flying with Emirates :)

We took the Dubai Metro to Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. This terminal was exclusive for Emirates and Qantas planes. We checked in and got our boarding passes before we headed past security and immigration into the departure area. We explored the humongous terminal before we ate at McDonalds. I realised that we could have used our vouchers which we got from our previous Emirates flight the day before. Anyway, we boarded our flight at Gate C21 and settled down in seats 11J and 11K, right next to the No. 2 engine. We pushed back and taxied to the runway before taking off to Kuala Lumpur. Supper was served and it was very delicious and then I watched some shows before managing to sleep for a few hours. Breakfast was served when it was still dark outside and there was only one choice which was a shame. We touched down smoothly at KLIA and parked at Gate C26. I asked the crew for permission to enter the cockpit and they said yes! The captain apparently flew with Malaysia Airlines before and the first officer just joined Emirates three months ago (at the time). Our journey has not ended yet as KL was only a stopover so stay tuned for where we will fly next. P.S It's where I was born!
