Unboxing a RCA 16GK6 power pentode vacuum tube. This valve is probably new & in its original box (NOS new old stock, NIB new in box). The valve base is a Noval 9 pin, USA pico-9, B9A miniature 9 pin. The clear glass envelope has RCA, ELECTRON TUBE, the RCA logo, MADE IN U.S.A & BR. printed on it in burnt orange. Also on the tube is 16GK6 & U.S.A.
Printed on the carton is RADIOTRON, the RCA logo, ELECTRON TUBE, THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN ELECTRONICS, RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA, Harrison, N.J., Made in U.S.A. & Trade Mark(s) ® Registered & Marca(s) Registrada(S). Printed on one end of the box is R C A, 16GK6, 32R3-R & (9-60). The inside flap has the number 16. The other end of the box has the RCA logo. Printed on the inside flaps is 1-7510-2, EASTEX, SCHOETTLE & CARTON PATENTED U.S. PAT. NO. 2,714981.
The type 16GK6 has a filament heater voltage requirement of 16 volts.
