I hope you all are having a great end to summer. Its been a CRAZY busy summer for me but I've enjoyed the quality of time I've had with my wife and kids. I was a huge fan of Soundgarden while growing up and Outshined has always been one of my favorites. I remember first playing this song for my brother's senior year talent show with his band in 1992. I was in the 8th grade then. I remember looking out and seeing loads of people and being announced as "and on drums, little Rob". (my brother's name). I was nervous, and I guarentee the drum parts then were not at all right HA. But seeing the crowd on their feet and how loud it was, put me at ease. That was fun, really fun, and a memory I carry with me to this day.
Fast forward 30 years, and here I am playing it again, probably for the second time LOL. This song was fun to record. Chris Cornell's voice is always astonishing and I'm a huge fan of drummer Matt Cameron. Then there is Kim Thayil. Probably one of the best guitarists on the grunge scene at the time. I'll argue with you on that. By no means is this drumming even close to that of Cameron's, but hey I tried. Thank you all for listening/watching. I hope you enjoy this one. I freakin love all of you. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate all of you for your continued support. You all are the ones who ROCK!
