In the Aswan hospital in Egypt, Dr Yacoub runs a training centre for young doctors. What advice does he give to young medical students?

He also runs a charity Chain of Hope Charity which provides specialist surgical care to the developing world.

Dr.Yacoub continues to act as a high-profile consultant and ambassador for transplant surgery. An inspiration for many, his methodology has saved thousands of lives.
