Kuan Ti (Guan Ti) Temple Tour | Kuala Lumpur Travel Blog

Half-Day Kuala Lumpur City Tour

On this segment of my Malaysia trip, I will visit Kuan Ti (Guan Ti) Temple in Kuala Lumpur.

Kuan Ti (Guan Ti) Temple is one of the oldest Taoist temples located in Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Dedicated to an ancient Chinese General Kuan Ti (Guan Ti), or also known as the God of War and Literature, Kuan Ti (Guan Ti) Temple is one of the most visited Taoist temples.

Some believe visiting this temple can transfer special mystical powers or good luck to the faithful. This is more likely when believers touch or lift the guan dao’ spear and ‘guan jie’ sword.

The temple is guarded by two stone lions at the entrance and a statue of Kuan Ti can be found inside main area.
