10TB Helium disk drive, what's inside? (PWJ128)

Описание к видео 10TB Helium disk drive, what's inside? (PWJ128)

What's inside a Helium filled disk drive? Well, HELIUM of course! The question is why...
Helium is a much less dense gas than air. According to manufacturer information, it causes less turbulence and friction than air. This leads to less power consumption, less vibration and noise and data can be written in narrower tracks. Also thinner disks are possible and therefore more disks can be installed. The result is a boost in capacity... up to 16 TB currently.
