Camp Maddie: Behavior Edition is Maddie's Fund's online symposium about determining which dogs are safe to rehome, keeping dogs happy and healthy while in your care, and finding them homes.

What is "a day in the life" like for the behavior dogs at our shelter? This session, led by Dr. Wailani Sung, Founder of Bay Area Vet Behavior, will review all the components that are needed to keep our shelter behavior dogs as happy and mentally healthy as possible through the use of daily management plans, enrichment schedules, volunteer involvement, behavior modification exercises and for some dogs, the use of behavioral medications.

Presenters: Wailani Sung, MS, PhD, DVM, DACVB, FFCP and Founder, Bay Area Vet Behavior; Joanna Pagel, Operations Director and Behavior Manager, Shelby Humane Society; Joyce Voss, DVM, PhD, Director of Veterinary Services and Animal Care at SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center

This presentation was recorded during the Camp Maddie: Behavior Edition symposium in March-April 2024. Find out more about this and other sessions on Maddie's Pet Forum https://maddies.fund/BXCampSupporting...
