Event
An introduction to q/kdb+, a high performance time series database. The demo will showcase real code and cover both the historical and real-time elements of the technology. Includes example usage of how the software is applied within the financial industry and a demonstration of the interoperability with Python.

About the Speaker
Rebecca Kelly is a Technical Evangelist at Kx based in New York City. Previously, Rebecca has worked as a senior solutions architect and kdb+ developer for Kx at financial institutions around the world. Rebecca has a master’s degree in Informatics with a speciality in Machine Learning from the University of Edinburgh, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
