THE LEGENDARY LIBERTY WRECK ︱BALI︱INDONESIA ︱SCUBA DIVING ︱4 K VIDEO

The ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo during World War II and later was intentionally stranded on the rocky beach of Tulamben. For 21 years she stayed there.
In 1963 Mount Agung erupted and the magma flow caused the vessel to slip off the beach where it presently rests at a depth of 29 meters.
Nowadays the structure of the wreck is unstable, year by year parts collapse and is almost fully encrusted.
It is a very easy shore dive but the best time to discover the Liberty is at dawn as the dive site gets very crowded during the day.
