You will have heard of people talking about "Common law" online and may have wondered "what is common law?". This video should help you to understand how it fits in with a legal system and what common law actually means. Many people use the phrase "I stand under common law" or "I do not consent" – often because common law was originally in place for checks and balances against the legislative and executive branches.
