To run a poll on WhatsApp, open the app and navigate to an existing conversation you’d like to run a poll in, or start a new one with the people you would like to participate. Then tap the plus sign in the bottom left corner. Select Poll. Now, type in the question you would like to ask. Below, type in answer options for your poll. You can add up to 12 options. You can change the order of the answer options by holding down the three lines to the right of an option, and dragging it up or down to the position you want to move it to. If you would like to allow participants to select more than one answer option, leave the allow multiple answers function enabled. If you want them to only select one, tap the switch to turn this feature off. When you’re ready, tap Send to send off your poll into your WhatsApp chat. Participants can tap an answer option to select it
