White House Calls Out India for "150% Tariffs on American Alcohol" | Firstpost America | N18G

The United States President Donald Trump Slammed Canada and called it a "Tariff abuser" after Ottawa imposed an electricity surcharge on three US states. Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed India and Japan for tariffs on American goods. Leavitt called out India for imposing over 150% tariffs on American alcohol, particularly Bourbon from Kentucky. Trump says he will continue to impose tariffs on Canada and will impose reciprocal tariffs on India and China. Meanwhile, New Delhi continues to state that it is willing to work with the Trump administration to ease any trade barriers with the United States.
