Anytime I bring a new house to market I play this little game…that informs all of my marketing, packaging and positioning.

Calling it a game is just more fun than calling it a strategy…so here’s how the ‘game’ works 😉

I stand in the space and picture the new family inside their new dream home.

It sounds really simple, but when you love the family leaving the home, it’s tricky to imagine someone new.

I walk through the house and stand in different places and think about what it will look like for a new family.

I’ve spent a lot of time standing in this home thinking of pool parties, pickleball games, family dinners of all shapes and sizes and a myriad of events that this space will hold for a new family.

I think through how it would look for all sorts of different families in various ages and stages.

When I spend some time doing this, it makes it so simple to create branding and marketing that will REACH THEM.

Because most often times, people don’t even realize they’re moving until they see THE HOUSE and you want to know what they do?

They picture their lives inside that space…and it’s really easy to jump in with them because you’ve pictured them there too.
