Farmers continue to stage nationwide protest against farm ordinances; reactions pour in from leaders

The farmers across the states continue to protest in regards to the three new farm ordinances that were introduced by the Central Government in the ongoing parliament session, one out of which was passed only yesterday.

The farmers seem to be restless and the proposals that have been made in those proposed bills. The Bhartiya Kisan Union says that these ordinances will lead to the eradication of mandis from the country. The Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson states that a nationwide protest is going on against the bills introduced by the central government.

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal, who is also an ally of BJP in the state of Punjab, has stated that the party will vote against these ordinances. He further added that the party will sacrifice anything for the interest of their farmers in Punjab.
