After several trial and error methods, I've finally stumbled onto my solution for the fuel pump noise. It's still wrapped in "egg crate" foam in my old pistol case, but it's mounted at a 30° angle, and isolated from both the bulkhead and bunk base by just enough to matter. Wow, am I ever happy to finally get away from that dreaded tick tick tick!!
