Here's a rundown on the first 6 notes you'll commonly learn for saxophone: G, A, B, C, D, and E. Anyone who's played recorder already has a jump start on this instrument...as long as you don't mind contending with a reed and transposing to E flat! Really though, it's not that bad.

Though you might notice more cuts in this video than in others....sorry, I'm not a great sax player, and you don't need to hear me squeak. Haha!
