West Bengal Poll Violence | Opposition Alleges Police Violence & Intimidation by TMC in Sandeshkhali

Bringing you updates from West Bengal: The BJP has alleged that the West Bengal Police, allegedly acting on orders from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, are targeting BJP booth agents in Bermajur, Sandeshkhali. BJP claims women are being threatened, and abused, and have had their voter cards confiscated to prevent them from manning booths. The entire area's power has been cut, with local TMC supporters reportedly guiding the police. Notably, no female officers are present, which is against protocol. The Chief Electoral Office of West Bengal has responded to the BJP's allegations.
