Easy Art for Kids: DIY Snow Paint

Make and paint with your own homemade snow paint that stays puffy and snow-like even after it's dry. Use it to paint snowmen, igloos, snowflakes, snowy scenes, and more!


MATERIALS:
•1 cup white glue
•1 cup unscented shaving cream (use the foam, NOT the gel kind)
•Glitter (optional)
•Colored card stock
•Scissors

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To make a large batch of snow paint, mix 1 cup white glue with 1 cup shaving cream. Stir in some glitter for extra fun!
2. Use your snow paint to paint snowy items onto colored card stock. Try snowmen, polar bears, igloos, snowflakes, snowy scenes, and more! Sprinkle the wet snow paint with more glitter if you like.
3. Cut small pieces of colored paper to press into the snow paint for details such as the face and buttons of a snowman.
4. Let snow paint dry overnight then display!
