Raising and Restoring the Wood Turtle | Prairie Sportsman

Minnesota DNR, wood turtles, Minnesota Zoo, threatened species, Tricia Markle, Krista LarsonWood turtles populations are threatened in southeast Minnesota, so the DNR and Minnesota Zoo are gathering eggs from nests, raising them, and releasing juvenile turtles a year later when they have a better chance of survival.
